The sedan has a wide low grille and an appearance of a low centre of gravity while the sporty hatch strikes a bold and fearless look.

Corolla's sleek design gives it a sporty profile with great aerodynamics. Its modern dynamic design is characterised by clean lines both inside and out, and a wide, sure-footed stance. Corolla's athletic exterior is complemented by its stylish and sporty interior.

Interior design

Corolla's interior design fuses style with ergonomics and functionality. It's roomy and incorporates high window surfaces for great visibility. Boot space

Corolla sedan and hatch models have large interior cabins and room in the boot. The hatch model provides 283 litres (350 litres with the rear seats down) of boot space while the sedan boasts a roomy 450 litres. Corolla also gives you the flexibility of many different seating and load arrangements.

Alloy wheels

Corolla's 16-inch alloy wheels (Ascent fitted with 15-inch steel wheels) add the perfect finishing touch to an already stylish and smart looking car about town. Safety

The world's most popular small car has a long list of world class car safety systems with inbuilt intelligence to help you avoid accidents.

Corolla's body incorporates special reinforcements and crumple zones built around the energy absorbing central Safe-T-Cell and driver and front passenger airbags to minimise injuries when accidents happen.

Brake system

Standard across the Corolla range, its Active Braking with intelligence (AB-i) system is simply world class. AB-i includes Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).

Brake Assist (BA)

Brake Assist (BA) interprets a sudden, quick push of the brake pedal as emergency braking and increases your braking pressure to reduce the stopping distance. It also applies additional pressure when required.

SRS Airbags

Every Corolla comes equipped with driver and front passenger SRS airbags to reduce the risk of serious injury to the head and chest. A total of seven airbags are standard and include driver's knee SRS airbag and full-length side curtain-shield airbags.

Reversing monitor

To get a clear view of what's behind you, Corolla Ultima includes a 3.3-inch LCD reversing monitor into its electro-chromatic interior mirror. It displays a video image from the camera positioned at the rear of the car.

Its stylish D-shaped steering wheel features some handy one-touch controls for Corolla's fully equipped audio (steering wheel controls not on Ascent), cruise control (not on Ascent), and multi-information display systems (steering wheel controls not on any sedan models). And fumbling for keys is a thing of the past with Corolla's keyless entry system and push button start for quick and easy getaways.

Car engine

Dynamic acceleration, fuel efficiency and low exhaust emissions are all hallmarks of the engine under the hood of every Corolla.

The 1.8 litre engine delivers that extra bit of power and acceleration making driving the car an even more enjoyable experience.

Car audio

The car audio system includes an MP3/WMA compatible CD player with six high quality speakers, a 3.5mm AUX input for portable audio players, USB input for some iPod® /USB memory sticks and Bluetooth™ audio streaming.

Push button start

Turning a key to switch on the ignition is a thing of the past. The Corolla utilises a push button start system on its Levin ZR and Ultima models.

The Corolla's key transmits a secure ID, which the car's computer verifies once you're inside.

Rain sensing wipers

Rain sensing wipers mean one less driver distraction for you to worry about. You can focus your full attention on driving, instead of constantly adjusting your wiper speed. Rain sensing wipers are standard on Corolla Levin ZR and Ultima models.
